Raptors and Eclipse
Genetics:
Example Photos of our Raptors and Aptors:
The A.P.T.O.R is a new Leopard Gecko morph, or rather, a combination of several morphs, originally developed by Ron Tremper. It debuted in Fall, '04. These geckos have the following traits: Tangerine, Carrot Head, Carrot Tail, Patternless (a new patternless gene- not the common "leucistic" or Murphy Patternless), Jungle, Stripe, and Reverse Stripe, and Giant Albino.
R.A.P.T.O.R Leopard Geckos are basically the same as Aptors, except they have bright red eyes. Ideally, the eyes are solid red, but some partial red eye and partial normal eye patterns are also seen.
The pic on the left shows a typical Tremper Albino Eye. The middle photo is a Snake Eye Raptor. The pic on the right shows a pure RAPTOR eye. Quite a difference!
Raptor Hatchlings:
Banded, Jungle, Striped, and Reverse Striped Raptors
Until 2006, it was believed that the only animals that would show the raptor eyes or snake eyes were patternless animals (blizzard, patternless, or aptor). We produced a small number of banded, jungle, and reverse stripes that have red snake eyes or raptor eyes.
Eclipse/ Snake Eye Eclipse
These geckos show all the traits of a raptor or snake eye raptor, with the exception of the albino gene. All of ours come from our raptor line so they are all het for raptor.
